Jim & Elaine Hyde have been involved in the horse
business for over 40 years. They have competed in all the western events
at
horse shows and timed events in rodeo. The Hyde's were full-time horse
trainers until 1989 when Jim felt like a career change. He started
building bits and spurs, and gradually developed his silversmithing
skills. The years of training horses gives Jim the insight to build
bits and spurs that really work. His artistic talent shows in his custom
designed buckles. The shop is now a full-time operation with a few
horses still being trained on the side.
Jim and Elaine conduct many horsemanship clinics every
year. They have bunkhouse accommodations forhorsemanship
camps and bit & spur clinics to be held at their ranch called the
Coyote Spring Ranch, which is located near the small town of Alida,
Saskatchewan.
All the clinics held at Coyote Springs Ranch include
bunkhouse accommodations, meals and a box stall for your horse.
The clinics are geared to be fun and relaxing. We can also arrange
for
you and your friends to book a private clinic.
