2005 will bring some exciting changes to the Northern Lights Barrel Futurity & Derby. One of those changes will be moving our event to PineRidge Equine Park. PineRidge Equine Park is just 15 minutes from Winnipeg's shops and hotels or 10 minutes from the town of Oakbank with some great restaurants in the area.

New Barrel Race Location! Aerial photo of PineRidge Equine Park. With a guarantee of good ground and a nearly regulation size pattern, we decided we couldn't refuse the opportunity to hold our futurity and derby at this amazing facility - there were just too many benefits to having it here.

Competitors and their horses will enjoy the comforts and conveniences offered here. We hope you will agree that going the extra distance to Winnipeg will be well worth it with a bigger pattern, plenty of warm up space, indoor box stalls for everyone, wash racks and much, much more.
