In an effort to support equine ranchers and breeders of barrel horses within Manitoba, we are offering an incentive to horses that were bred in Manitoba. In order to qualify, horses must be listed as bred in Manitoba on their registration papers.

For the Breeder: The breeder of the highest placing horse bred in Manitoba will receive a Petersen waterer similar to the one pictured at right. Thank you to Petersen Mfg. for donating the stock waterer!

For the Rider: The rider of the highest placing Manitoba bred horse will also receive a bonus award in order to encourage barrel racers to purchase Manitoba bred horses to compete on.
